Cookie Policy
The short version. We use only the cookies and storage that make the site and the game work, plus — only if you say yes — anonymous usage statistics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and we don't sell anything about you.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) used on ekoquest.io, in the game at play.ekoquest.io, and by our servers at api.ekoquest.io. It's part of our Privacy Policy, which explains your rights. The site and the game are run by Trigonal Technologies (RC 1808824).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and IndexedDB are similar: they let a site keep information on your device, such as your saved game. Some are essential — the site can't work without them. Others are optional, and we only use them if you agree.
2. Your choice
On your first visit we ask what you're happy with:
- Accept all: essential cookies, plus anonymous usage statistics and crash reports in the game.
- Essential only: just what's needed for the site and the game to work.
Your choice is saved for 12 months and applies to the whole of ekoquest.io, including the game. You can change it any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or in the game under Settings → "Share anonymous usage stats".

Two kinds of counting don't use cookies and don't identify you: counts of how often an in-game ad or deal was actually seen, combined into daily totals for advertisers; and security checks that protect the game from bots and cheating. They're described in the Privacy Policy.
Other companies
Some parts of the game come from other companies, which may set their own cookies or storage under their own policies:
- WorkOS — the sign-in page, when you sign in;
- Google — "Sign in with Google", if you choose it; Google Maps features, only if you add your own Google key; and Google Fonts, which load some of the game's lettering (Google Fonts doesn't set cookies, but does see your IP address);
- Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot check before prize claims and withdrawals.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working, and clearing site storage as a guest erases your saved progress on that device.
